These are the issues raised in "The Future of Water". With bang up-to-date footage from 25 countries and its basis in scientific material, the documentary presents an original and comprehensive narrative of the challenges societies will face in relation to our most precious resource. In episode 3 we visit areas of the world where there are current diplomatic or military conflicts over water resources including southern Africa, Spain and, most sensitively, the countries bordering the Nile.
